Description
In this project we studied the regulation of PCNA upon DNA damage. We performed mechanistic studies on the ubiquitination of PCNA. We also studied how SIVA1 could regulate this process. Our data, including biochemical data and a cryo-EM structure of the PCNA/SIVA1 complex suggest that this regulatory role does not take place on DNA.
