Smart Industry comprises the acceleration of digitalisation in the industry. To increase productivity, new digital tools are introduced. This is a challenge for SMEs, in particular for employees who lack digital skills training. We connect the Dutch Smart Industry fieldlabs and major research streams in an innovative framework to address this issue. - Subproject 1: How to design, introduce and use digital technology in SME manufacturing companies to safeguard their future? - Subproject 2: How to provide digital skills training for existing employees to safeguard their current jobs and provide them with a job tomorrow?
