Neurodegenerative disease variation across ethnicity- A detailed neuroimaging investigation.

Diseases that cause the brain to shrink, like dementia, affect certain ethnic groups more than others. However, research is currently undertaken in mainly European individuals from North-America and Europe. I will extend this research to underrepresented groups globally to understand the ethnic differences by using advanced analyses of brain scans.
