Description
In this Impact project, a team composed by members of the association Fiw Fiw ñi Dungun and the NWO-funded project SHADES will create a resource for learning Mapudungun, a highly endangered language spoken in Chile/Argentina. The team will implement an online platform featuring a Mapudungun/Spanish dictionary of about 2200 words, which targets adult learners. The resources will be generated based on research conducted in the project SHADES, specifically including (accessible and catchy) information on the productivity of word internal schemas, as well as activities aimed at teaching word formation strategies to learners in the A2 and B1 levels.
