Description
The applicant is coordinator of the 5th framework project ?Smallcons? investigating the socio-economic achievements and their institutional context in six corporatist European countries (Austria, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland). Its completion date is March 2006. Drawing on the rich material of this project the subsidy will be used to compile two books: a monograph and an edited volume. The monograph will extend a large socio-economic ?work package? report (due in 2005) asking whether a European alternative does exist to the liberal strategy of socio-economic development, the edited volume (based on the ?Final Report?) will present main findings of the project.
