Black holes are unique cosmic laboratories where the effects of strong gravity, magnetic fields and radiation leave their mark. Two of the most well-known black holes are M87* and Sagittarius A*. Their shadows were recently revealed by the Event Horizon Telescope. These types of black holes are surrounded by diffuse, hot and ionised gas known as plasma. The plasma conditions are such that it has a collisionless nature where the particles interact only through electromagnetic fields. With the proposed numerical simulations, we evaluate millions of particles around black holes, which gives insight into the high-energy emission of these systems.
