ProGauntlet

The hand and fingers are among the most important body parts when it comes to functioning in daily life. They are also the most fragile ones and are often put in harm?s way during labour or leisure activities, resulting in a significant number of injuries. An injured hand is not only a great personal inconvenience, but can also come at great cost for companies having to deal with employees unable to work. CrossGuard develops ProGauntlet, the ultimate protective glove combining unrivalled impact protection with unhampered movement. A partial prototype, focused on armed combat sports, is promising and raises interest from different markets, such as offshore and construction. We now want to check the feasibility of manufacturing this glove in an affordable way, innovating in combined production systems in order to tailor it to end users of all hand sizes. This phase also incorporates a growth on the business level, to be a stepping stone to the next phases, gauging partnerships and strategies to enter different markets.
