Description
In preparatory vocational education (vmbo in Dutch), a pilot will take place in which the mixed learning pathway (gl) and the theoretical pathway (tl) will be combined into one pathway: the new pathway gtl. A monitoring and evaluation study, consisting of a plan analysis, process evaluation and (effect) monitoring, will examine these pilots from 2021 to 2025. In addition, action research is being carried out with pilot schools. The insights that emerge from these studies are ultimately incorporated into a plan for upscaling the new pathway gtl to all vmbo schools in the Netherlands.
