Description
A quarter of the Dutch population faces long-term (visual, hearing, cognitive) impairments , leading to social inequality and exclusion. The upcoming EU Accessibility Act (EAA) requires all EU service providers to make their products and services accessible to people with disabilities by 2025. When not co-designed, inclusive technology is not socially accepted or trusted by vulnerable communities. TACIT will co-develop AI and Immersive Media technologies with impaired communities through inclusive Human-Computer Interaction and design methodologies. TACIT goal is to improve the accessibility of public services, support the broad adoption of EAA, stimulate innovation in assistive technologies, and foster societal inclusion.
