Supported by the NWO impulse financing fund, the UMCG DCC was established in 2021 with the aim of implementing data stewardship within the organization and improving the quality of research data. The UMCG DCC has now been embedded within the organization as part of Research Support and has achieved its original goals. This grant will enable accelerated implementation of data stewardship as well as initiation of software management and support for researchers. Furthermore, it will enable the UMCG DCC to strengthen its collaborations with the Thematic DCCs, especially the TDCC health and life sciences which is part of Health-RI.
