This project explores the architectural and historical legacy of the Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij (NHM) in Indonesia, focusing on colonial-era bank buildings like Museum Bank Mandiri. Using 3D scanning and archival research, it documents NHM’s impact on urban development and trade. The goal is to preserve these structures digitally, create accessible archives, and develop new museum narratives that critically engage with colonial history. By collaborating with Indonesian and Dutch institutions, the research promotes heritage conservation, education, and cross-cultural understanding, ensuring that NHM’s historical significance is remembered and interpreted in a balanced, meaningful way for future generations.
