DECISION (Dairy and Ecology: Co-Innovating buSIness Operations for Nature)

Biodiversity recovery is essential to sustain resilient food systems, robust businesses, and healthy societies. A nature-inclusive dairy sector would be pivotal to biodiversity recovery given its role in land use, landscape management and economic relevance. The DECISION project aims to accelerate the transition by better understanding the values of nature and how to conserve it, creating integrated monitoring, rewarding farmers for their commitments, aligning public and private efforts, and forging lasting partnerships. DECISION embeds ‘nature’ into farms, supply chains, finance, and policy. Together with farmers, companies, and communities, it co-creates solutions that accelerate a resilient, nature-inclusive future.
