Perception training improves listeners perception, but it may also significantly improve production, word identification and/or general listening comprehension. This would make perception training interesting for the EFL classroom, where it is currently hardly used. This project investigates students group and individual performances regarding these skills on a pretest and, following perception training, on a posttest and retention test. Results can help teachers to tailor classroom activities to meet individual needs.
