With a growing need for skilled professionals, high-quality vocational education is more important than ever. Authentic learning environments play a crucial role, yet assessment in these settings remains complex and fragmented. Different assessors apply varying expectations and perceptions, making alignment with workplace demands challenging. This research investigates enablers for collaborative assessment practices in authentic learning environments between mbo-students, teachers and workplace educators, using a cross-case study, literature review and Hybrid Delphi study. A tool will be developed to support reflection and improvement of collaborative assessment practices, to enhance alignment between schools and workplaces and to foster students self-direction.
