Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest cancers, often diagnosed late and leaving patients with very limited treatment options. Survival rates are extremely low, highlighting the urgent need for better ways to detect and treat the disease. At OncoChem, we are developing innovative therapies that target a protein called FAP, found in the supportive tissue around tumours. This unique approach allows medicines to reach cancer cells more effectively. Two promising candidates are advancing: eFAP-24, an imaging tool to help surgeons remove tumours more precisely, and eFAP-51, a treatment that delivers radiation directly to tumours, even in advanced disease.
