Halve minor Academic Pharma

Medical students lack crucial education on the intricate process of drug development. Particularly, the development of commercially less appealing drugs, for instance for rare diseases or repurposing of more affordable drugs requires strong involvement from academia and physicians. This is addressed in the half minor Academic-Pharma. The minor incorporates innovative teaching methods, practical team assignments, and role-playing. Students also work on creative solutions for ongoing projects with project leaders from the research theme Academic Pharma as instructors. The goal is to engage students in academic drug development and strengthen the bridge between clinical practice, academia, and the Life Sciences sector.
