Description
This is an AGREEMENT relating to the transfer of the Academic Unit of the Wellcome Trust to University College London and to the operation of the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine. In June 1999 the Governors of the Wellcome Trust decided that they wished to formalise and to develop further the close relationship between the Trust and the University College London, by transferring the Academic Unit to UCL. Further in February 2000, the Governors of the Trust decided that, following such transfer, the Academic Unit would receive the status of a Wellcome Trust Centre and would be known by the name "The Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine, University College London."
